Recommended CPU, RAM, and graphics RAM values are from Epic's official Hardware and Software Specifications for Unreal Engine (Windows recommended hardware). gpuTier 30 is a RenderReady approximation to represent a reasonable GPU class around 8 GB VRAM — Epic does not publish a numeric tier. Minimum numeric checker values (gpuTier 8, 8 GB RAM) are a RenderReady baseline for the compatibility checker, not a published Epic hardware minimum profile; Epic's documented minimums are primarily software requirements. Nanite, Lumen, and Virtual Shadow Maps may need substantially more hardware depending on project. Source: Epic Games — Hardware and Software Specifications for Unreal Engine.
